The Town View Point is a quick but unforgettable stop. Combine it with a visit to Gordes village for a complete half-day.
Arrive early in the morning
Golden morning light illuminates the village facade. Fewer crowds and best light for photography — arrive before 9am in summer.
Park at the adjacent lot
A small free parking lot is right next to the viewpoint. In peak season (July-August), it fills up fast — arrive early.
Continue to the village
After admiring the view, drive up to the village to explore the alleys, the castle and art galleries. Allow 1-2 hours to wander.
Safety
The roadside can be busy. Stay within the parking area and on the viewpoint platform. Watch children near the road.
Terrain
